I built this turbo kit in a few weeks and have been testing as much as I can. Its been a while since I posted anything here. Hopefully next year will be full of uploads! Merry Christmas everyone!
2018 GP1800 clutch failure.

Sometimes the clutch makes no noise, sometimes it does. This is the 3rd clutch in my ski at 120 hours. Turbo build coming soon.

Took the GP1800 out to meet up with my buddy. They were test running a new Trifecta 26' Twin Mercury 400R Tritoon. Starter stopped working on the ski. Awesome boat to get towed in by.

They can, but the panels were free and they do have smaller openings at the bottom.

It’s a good idea to tie the door back and do a few nights of pre-feed to get them used to going in and out, then you will have a better chance at getting them to push through the door once you untie it. I had a trap like this in New Zealand but they refused to go inside, so I set the door on a rope tied to a dead goat carcass, which worked well after a pre-feed. Good luck, hope you catch a few.
The best luck was with the door opened and connected to a trip wire. It worked much better like that.
Guys like you have the smarts to solve problems and get'er done. We don't have hogs in Wyoming, but this makes me smile.
How wide does the door need to be we built one haven't had a hog go in yet had some little ones but the got out threw the fence it has 4inch square holes
Im pretty sure I made the opening about 2ft wide. I ended up having to pull the fence open and run a trip wire to trap them in.
Sounds great, I’m also thinking about ditching the clutches for some real boost😂
It does lose a lot of power down low, makes it a little harder to jump waves. But I had 3 clutches fail by the time I hit 110 hours.

With a spool like that, it's gotta be a like 28 something.
It was a gen 2 gtx2867r. I have stepped up to a 3071r recently. I will be adding some videos as soon as it warms up.

I wouldn't trust that gauge. It hit 88mph, but the prop was not tall enough. Was spinning 9500rpm
The noise you're hearing when blipping the throttle is normal. They make almost a vibration type noise.
Listen to the noise that comes back after a second during idle. It was the clutch and it failed the next time out. The ski has gone Turbo since.

@@zmethod7294 Well, I built my own turbo kit, but you are probably looking at $4000. But you will be able to sell your supercharger, and the idler to recoup some of the money.

@@zmethod7294 I have the datalog kit from Riva Racing, and Jesus over there does the tuning for me, sends me an email and I flash it with the maptuner.
Nice, but i wont be too effective, the reason is because all the little ones will get out, the bottom, at least 4 rows need to be 2 inches You should catch some big ones, try a mix of corn, strawberry soda, 2 boxes of strawberry jello - or spoiled milk
The hogs got caught many times with the setup. even the small ones. plus if the little ones escape, you shoot their asses while they flee.

caught quite a few. but had to move the trap after that. they would never get close again.

Not sure what you mean about my truck, but the hexacopter never broke, it just never had stable, usable footage. get a DJI and move on like I did.

The piglets will just walk out this fence. Not the proper type of panels used.
The panels have a smaller gap at the bottom to keep the little pigs in. It obviously wont catch everything, but worked great for me and I had everything laying around.

Yeah for sure. Than Ill also get an auto turret to kill the pigs, plus an auto pork sausage factory. but during the current lack of money... I think its not bad.

It worked fine. Caught 6 at once including some 20lb piglets. I ended up setting up a trip wire for it.

71mph completely stock according to my phone.
Ski one the left has 17 gp plate cut by jims.. deticated cooling line to stock innercooler.. stage 1 plus maptunerx tune . Running solid 77-78 in texas August weather

Sorry for the late reply. Some clips were from a stage 2 GP1800. The 2021 is completely stock and handles amazing. It is worth it if you dont already have a 19 or 20. It will out handle any GP1800 before it, even the ones that have more power/speed

Did you flash the ECU ? Its probably Stage 1 , maybe Stage 1plus? I wonder how it feels with new steering adjustment and holeshot , cornering with auto trim !?
You can take it to a shop where they can do it for you or u can buy the kit yourself and attach the reflash to a computer and to the ecu to program it.
100% stock, The ski corners and handles holeshot phenomenally. Way better than the previous Gp1800.

The '21 was completely stock. some of the clips are from my '18 Stage 2

79 Was on my 2018 Gp1800 We hit 71mph on the '21 completely stock. It will out handle pretty much every ski that doesnt have handling mods (sponsons and such)
